A Huge THANK YOU to all the students in Mrs Perkin's 6th grade class at Oak Valley Elementary School for gathering and donating 2 baskets of goods to feed two families within the community. Also, a heartfelt Thank You to the facilitators of this love project Kevin Nebel and Monica Baldridge.
Thank you Volunteer Pals!
All hands together provided 5 Thanksgiving baskets for families within the community.
- Provide emergency food orders for families experiencing short-term crisis
- Provide bags of food for low-income seniors
- Provide holiday food boxes for needy families during Easter, Thanksgiving, Chanukah and Christmas
- Provide food for community non-profit agencies as needed for their families

MISSION STATEMENT
Established June 2007.
The mission of the Hands For Families Food Bank is to gather and share quality food, the most basic of all human necessities, to people who need nutritional assistance while seeking to raise awareness and promote action to combat hunger in our communities because nobody should go hungry.
The Following Items Will Be Accepted & Distributed
Canned/Boxed/Jarred Items:
soup, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, canned ravioli, canned spaghetti, gravy, fruit, vegetables, cereal, rice a roni, boxed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, non dairy coffee creamer, mayonaise, mustard, catsup,
HOUSEHOLD:
paper towels, toilet tissue, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, storage bags, (various sizes), trash bags, bath soap, clothes soap, dish soap
BABIES/CHILDREN
baby food (all stages), cereal, teething bisquits, juice, disposable diapers (all sizes), baby wipes
